The Metropolis School of the Performing Arts is seeking a Props Designer for our upcoming spring production of Hood – a comedic version of Robin Hood.



-Obtain all props and related pieces required for the production through building, borrowing, renting, pulling from stock or any other means available.

-Provide a complete props list including maintenance instructions for all props.

-Handle major repairs or replacements of prop pieces.

Skills & Qualifications: 

-Prior props design experience

-Highly organized, independent, and able to take directions

-Valid’ driver’s license and personal vehicle



Production Meetings

3 Production Meetings between March 10th and April 28th

*to be determined on a later date and based on availability


Tech/Dress Rehearsals

Monday, April 30th – 4pm-9pm

Tuesday, May 1st – 4pm-9pm

Wednesday, May 2nd – 4pm-9pm


Performances *designer attendance is not required

Thursday, May 3rd at 10am & 6pm, Friday, May 4th at 10am & 6pm, Saturday, May 5th at 1pm



Saturday, May 5th at 2:30pm



This is a stipend position.
